The application pool for the International Experience Canada (IEC) program is closing soon! If you’re between the ages of 18 and 35, this is your opportunity to live and work in Canada temporarily.
The IEC program offers three exciting streams that allow you to explore Canada while gaining valuable work experience:
- International Co-op (Internship): This stream allows you to secure an internship with a Canadian company, giving you hands-on experience in your field of study.
- Young Professionals: With this option, you can work with a specific employer in Canada under a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA)-based work permit, enhancing your professional skills.
- Working Holiday: This stream provides the freedom of an Open Work Permit, allowing you to work with multiple employers in various locations across Canada.
Who Can Apply?
Citizens from over 30 countries that have Youth Mobility Agreements with Canada are eligible to apply. Make sure you meet the basic requirements and submit your profile to the pool for consideration.
Important Notes
Once selected, you’ll have 20 days to submit your work permit application. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your international career, so don’t let it slip away!
