Navigating the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) – International Graduate Entrepreneur Category

Are you an international student graduating from a Saskatchewan institution with dreams of becoming an entrepreneur? The International Graduate Entrepreneur Category under the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) might be your pathway to making those dreams a reality!

Step 1: Express Your Interest Begin your journey by submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the SINP expressing your interest in being nominated for Permanent Residence as an International Graduate Entrepreneur.

Step 2: Invitation to Apply Candidates are selected from the EOI system based on their score on the points criteria grid. Top scorers will receive invitations to apply.

Step 3: Establish Your Business Once invited, approved applicants with valid post-graduate work permits (PGWP) must operate their proposed business in Saskatchewan.

Step 4: Nomination After fulfilling the Business Performance Agreement (BPA) conditions, applicants can apply to be nominated by the SINP for permanent residency.

Expression of Interest System Submitting an EOI is not an application but an expression of interest. The SINP selects EOIs based on the EOI Points Assessment ranking. Selected candidates are invited to apply.

Application Requirements To submit an EOI, ensure you meet the Minimum Eligibility Criteria and complete the points grid questions accurately. EOIs can remain in the pool for twelve months.

Document Submission No fee is required to submit an EOI. While EOIs do not require attachments, nominated candidates must submit the necessary documents for the application.

Nomination Process Upon approval, nominees must reside in Saskatchewan, actively operate their business, and comply with their BPA. Nominees can then apply for Permanent Residence through IRCC.

Using Immigration Representatives While not mandatory, you can hire a representative who must be a lawyer in Canada or licensed by the Government of Saskatchewan.

Designated Individuals: You can authorize someone else to access information about your application by completing and submitting form IMM-5475.
